If the buzz is anything to go by, then Vijay who plays dual roles in his upcoming sports drama Thalapathy 63 has been named Bigil, and not Michael as previously reported. Apparently, Michael is the name of Kathir's character in the film, who plays Vijay's friend and whose death (murder) forms a pivot of the film's plot-line. 

Though there are no official confirmations, media reports strongly suggest that Bigil is most likely the name of one of the father/son characters played by Vijay. 

Thalapathy 63 is directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment. The film which has Nayanthara playing female lead has womens' football as the background and addresses the corruption that goes on in that field. The film is scheduled for a release during Diwali, 2019 and a likely first look/song release on Vijay's birthday.
