Yuvan's Rowdy Baby Song from Maari 2 sets big records!

 

The video song of Rowdy Baby from Dhanush, Sai Pallavi starrer Maari 2 was released on Wednesday and has gone to set some major records for a video song release. Owing to the popularity of the Yuvan Shankar Raja composed track and the lack of a video up until Wednesday, multiple pirated versions of the song were uploaded and taken down on YouTube from time to time. 

Despite this, the video has garnered more than 10 million views in total, 7 million of which was clocked in within the first 24 hours of the video's official release. This has made Rowdy Baby the most viewed video song on YouTube within the first 24 hours, till date. 

And with 288K likes, it was also the most like YouTube video song in the first 24 hours of release. Prabhu Deva's choreography along with the impeccable moves of Dhanush and Sai Pallavi is believed to be the reason behind the video going viral and setting big numbers.

The lyric video of the song released earlier crossed the 50 Million views mark in 35 days, making it the first lyric video to achieve this feat on that platform. 

Rowdy Baby's popularity has extened to other platforms as well with the song becoming the first Tamil track to generate 350K versions on the Musical.ly App. You can watch the song here.
