After releasing the character posters of Aravind Swami and Arun Vijay, the makers of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam / CCV (Nawab in Telugu) have unveiled the character poster of Vijay Sethupathi who essays the role of Rasool in the film. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the multi-starrer film is gearing up for a release on September 28, 2018. 

The movie touted to be socio-political drama also starrs Vijay Sethupathi, Aravind Swami and Simbu in pivotal roles. The female star cast includes Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa among others and has music by A.R. Rahman. The film is produced by Madras Talkies and will be presented by Lyca Productions.
