Exclusive: Simbu aka STR to do a movie with this director of Sivakarthikeyan's films!

News of actor Simbu's forthcoming projects keep popping up every now and then though except for Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, 90ml and Simbu's announcement of a directorial venture, there has been no official word on anything else. Now, adding to the list of prospective projects with Gautham Menon (Vinnai Thaandi Varuvein, sequel to Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya), with producer Kalaipuli S Thanu and with Vijaya Vauhini Studios (known for producing Bairavaa, Veeram, Vengai, Padikadhavan, Thamirabharani, etc), word has it that Simbu will also be doing a film with director Ponram.

As the three film old Ponram has so far only directed Sivakarthikeyan as his lead (Varuthapadaadha Vaalibar Sangam, Rajinimurugan, Seema Raja), if this said project materializes, then it will be Ponram's first with Simbu. Word also has it that this Simbu-Ponram combo will be backed by producer Nanthagopal of Madras Enterprisesthough there hasn't been any such official annoucements.
