Moviecrow Chennai City Box Office Report - September 8 to 10 
It was quite an average weekend at the CBO with the new Tamil releases not doing much. Both Kathanayagan and Neruppuda had below-par openings while IT was a rage in multiplexes. Vivegam continued to perform but at a lower level. Here are the latest Top5 and their Chennai city gross,

Last week's Puriyaatha Puthir collapsed in its 2nd weekend and has grossed 1.24 CR in the city after 10 days. It earns a Flop verdict. And despite excellent reviews, Kurangu Bommai hasn't done much at the boxoffice, grossing 35 lakhs in the city after 10 days in running with limited shows. It gets a Below Average verdict. 

 

Thupparivaalan (Sep14) and Magalir Mattum (Sep15) will surely keep the boxoffice busy coming weekend.
