Saivam release date locked

The release date of Director Vijay's most ambitious project Saivam has been locked. The film is set to hit the screens on June 27. Baby Sarah of 'Deiva Thirumagal' fame, Nasser and newcomer Luthfudeen Basha (Naaser's son) play the lead roles in Saivam. The film is all about a child's love for a rooster.

Saivam has been censored with a clean U certificate. Music by GV Prakash. The film is produced by Vijay's own production company Think Big Studios. Saivam will be AL Vijay's next release after Vijay's Thalaivaa.

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies had earlier acquired the distribution rights of the film. Looks like the production house has withdrawn its tie up with Think Big Studios and will not be releasing the film. However the reasons for the withdrawal is not known.
