Kamal's big gamble with Viswaroopam

Viswaroopam is becoming the most expensive Kamal Haasan's movie till date. The production team reports that the budget of Viswaroopam has already exceeded the total spend of Dasavatharam. More than 50 Crores have been spent on this trilingual (Tamil, Hindi, Telugu). The movie is expected to be centered around terrorism. The schedule in Jordan was completed last month. The team is planning to shoot next two schedules in the US and the UK before wrapping up the shooting. The next schedule will be starting on December 16th and a team of 70+ people will be flying to the US. 

Every year during New Year night,  Time Square in New York City ranks as the highest risk target location for possible terrorist activity. Usually, this place attracts millions of people and heavy security is in effect all over New York City during the New Year 'apple drop' event at midnight. One of the production team members who wanted to be anonymous was predicting some scenes to be shot at this location on New Year night.

The movie is now 60% completed and expected to release during the second half of 2012.
