Actor Bhagyashri Borse has joined Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film Seyon, marking her second Tamil outing after her debut in Dulquer Salmaan's Kaantha. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan under his Raaj Kamal Films International banner, and Bhagyashri shared a heartfelt note following a meeting with the veteran actor, writing that the little girl in her who grew up watching him was jumping with joy at the encounter.

Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, fresh off the success of Thaai Kizhavi, Seyon marks Sivakarthikeyan's second collaboration with both Kamal Haasan and Sivakumar Murugesan. Kamal had attended a special screening of Thaai Kizhavi before the collaboration was announced. Sivakarthikeyan has drawn a lofty reference point for the project, expressing his intent to emulate the strengths of Virumandi.

The technical team includes composer Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer Vivek Vijayakumar, editor San Lokesh, and action choreographer Supreme Sundar. Seyon is targeting an October theatrical release.
