The release date is locked! Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan, is set to hit theatres worldwide on July 31. Produced by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, the film marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay — son of Chief Minister Vijay.

Described by the makers as "a high-stakes heist" film, Jason Sanjay has revealed that Sigma blends action, comedy, treasure-hunt, and heist elements to deliver a high-energy cinematic experience.

The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh, and Kiran Konda, with Kaleel Raja, Sanjeev S, and Ajaiy Ashok credited as additional screenplay writers.

On the technical front, Sigma has music by Thaman S, cinematography by Krishnan Vasant, editing by Praveen KL, and stunts handled by Venkat and Selva. The film was shot across multiple locations including Chennai, Thailand, Thalakona, and Salem.

The film is yet to receive its censor certificate. Notably, Vijay's final film Jana Nayagan is also pending censorship and awaiting a release date — with mid-June being widely speculated, though banner KVN Productions is yet to officially confirm it.
