With Blast releasing this Thursday, actress Preity Mukhundhan has been sharing her experience working on the film, and by her own admission, she truly had one. Back in Tamil cinema after 2024's Star, Preity steps into an action-heavy role alongside Arjun and Abhirami in director Subash K Raj's debut.

In a video released by producers AGS Entertainment, Preity credited stunt choreographer Phoenix Prabhu for making the action sequences work. "He made us do the action scenes convincingly after thinking about how to execute those sequences," she said, also thanking director Subash for pushing her to deliver impactful stunt work.

The other highlight for Preity was getting slow-motion shots scored to Ravi Basrur's music, something she never imagined for herself. "These are all very massy," she said, clearly thrilled by the experience. Basrur, best known for the KGF franchise and Salaar, makes his Tamil debut with Blast.

Blast is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under AGS Entertainment and hits theatres on May 28.
