Adam Wingard directed Godzilla Vs Kong (2021) is getting a sequel this year, and the film titled Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire will be releasing in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Warner Bros. India have confirmed Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire's India release date to be March 29, 2024 [Friday]. The 115 minute monster movie therefore will premiere first in India, before the United States of America [a day later] and Japan [April 26, 2024].

While Godzilla and King Kong were in a battle against each other in the last film, The New Empire sequel sees them team up as the threat of new simian villain Skar King looms. Adam Wingard who has returned to direct GXK The New Empire has said of the movie and Godzilla's pink glow up,

“There’s a bit of a truce..The buddy-cop dysfunctional relationship dynamic is probably the best one to describe Godzilla and Kong..There’s a personal journey that Kong’s going through..Godzilla's pink transformation is his version of a training routine..You’re gonna see lots of different versions of Godzilla in this movie.”

The cast of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire includes Rebecca Hall as Dr. Ilene Andrews, Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes, Dan Stevens as Trapper, Kaylee Hottle as Jia, Alex Ferns, Fala Chen, Rachel House among others.
