Blast has crossed Rs 25 crore at the worldwide box office, with the film also hitting the $50K mark in North America. Directed by debutant Subash K Raj, the Arjun-led action drama opened in theatres on May 28 and has shown steady growth over its opening weekend.

The film collected Rs 1 crore on day one in India, followed by Rs 2.15 crore on day two, before picking up strongly over the weekend with Rs 4.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 6 crore on Sunday.

Blast follows a family of fighters drawn into a larger conspiracy and forced to battle a crime syndicate for survival. The cast includes Abhirami, Preity Mukhundhan, Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, and Dileepan among others. Ravi Basrur, of KGF fame, makes his Tamil debut as music composer with the film.
