Recently, the makers of actor Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Jailer unveiled a teaser video announcing the film's release date to be August 10, 2023 [Thursday]. Rajini's cop avatar in the movie was revealed in this video, and the bit where his character was seen exiting the cop vehicle had particularly garnered a lot of attention. This bit has now turned into an official Jailer poster, and producers - Sun Pictures unveiled the same this Sunday. 

Written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar,  Jailer is touted to be a story on prison and its inmates. The movie is a multi-starrer with names like Tamannaah Bhatia, Kannada star Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Telugu actor Sunil, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, Mirna Menon, G. Marimuthu, Namo Narayana, master Rithvik, Mahanadi Shankar, Saravanan, Bigg Boss fame Nisha among others in its cast.
