We had previously reported that director H. Vinoth had narrated a political script to actors Vijay Sethupathi and Kamal Haasan. While the world was waiting for Kamal Haasan to announce this as his next project, the Ulaganayagan surprised everyone with KH 234, that will mark his reunion with Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman.

Recently Udhayanidhi Stalin during a press interaction spoke about the Kamal Haasan - H Vinoth film, and said that the movie is very much on, and will go on floors in early 2023. Udhay also said that Vijay Sethupathi is reuniting with Kamal Haasan after Vikram (2022) on this project, and that it will be wrapped quickly. 

Udhayanidhi Stalin's banner Red Giant Movies often affiliates with Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and presumably it is via this association, the MLA-actor has revealed these details. However, in the past Udhay had wrongly let out the title of Kamal Haasan produced Sivakarthikeyan movie (SK 21) as Maaveeran; It later turned out to be the title of SK 22, Sivakarthikeyan's film with director Madonne Ashwin.
