The trailer for Ram in Leela, directed by debutant Ramachandran Kannan, has been unveiled by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film stars Rio Raj as Ram, a man repeatedly rejected by marriage prospects, who finally meets his dream girl Leela on a train — played by debutante Vartika. The catch is that Leela cannot be seen after 6 pm. The trailer then reveals that Ram's male friend transforms into Leela, bringing chaos and confusion into his life in this fun-filled romantic comedy.

The film also stars Balaji Thiyagarajan Dayalan, Munishkanth, Chetan and Deepa Venkat, among others. Ankit Menon composes the music, with the film backed by Trident Arts and Eywa Entertainment. Ram in Leela releases on August 21, clashing with Modha Rathiri at the box office.
