In an inadvertent slip, producer-distributor Udhayanidhi Stalin has revealed that the Kamal Haasan produced Sivakarthikeyan movie which tentatively goes by SK 21, has been titled Maaveeran. SK 21 is a big budget action drama high on patriotism and Sivakarthikeyan will be seen playing an army officer in it.

Maaveeran is written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy of Rangoon (2019) fame  and has Sai Pallavi playing female lead. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies seems to be distributing this PAN Indian film in Tamil, which is yet to go on floors.

Even at this stage, the digital and satellite rights of Maaveeran are said to be with Disney Plus Hotstar OTT platform and Star Network respectively.

[Update: July 15, 2022] Maaveeran is the title of Sivakarthikeyan's film with Mandela director Madonne Ashwin and Prince producers Shanthi Talkies. It is not the title of SK 21 where Sivakarthikeyan plays an Army officer.
