AK 61 (tentative title) is actor Ajith's third film in a row with producer Boney Kapoor and director H. Vinoth. As reported before, the movie goes on floors on March 9, 2022 at Hyderabad and the title of the film is also expected to be unveiled on the same day. Latest on the project is that actor Ajith is on a journey of loosing massive weight i.e. 25-30 Kg for his character. Ajith will be seen in two different looks and the weight loss is for adding the style factor to his role.

Ajith's character will also have shades of grey in AK 61, which is touted to be a heist based action thriller. Ajith is said to be playing someone who has two faces - good and bad in the film.

Pictures of the actor with his family including actors Shalini and Richard are currently going viral on the internet. Ajith can be seen in an all-white, bearded hair-do similar to the one in his AK 61 'prep mode' picture.
