Ajith's upcoming movie AK 61 (tentative title), which is the actor's third film with producer Boney Kapoor and director H. Vinoth is all set to go on floors from March 9, 2022 (Wednesday). A huge set is already in construction for the shooting to begin on the said date.

Title of AK 61 is expected to be announced the same day it goes on floors. While an official announcement on the cast and crew awaits, actors Mohanlal, Tabu, Prakash Raj and composer Anirudh, cinematographer Nirav Shah are said to be a part of the project.
