Considering the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by Russian armed forces after Vladimir Putin declared war on the former, Warner Brothers took to Twitter a little past midnight (IST) to announce that the trailer of Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore, will not be releasing as planned. Secrets of Dumbledore is part 3 in the Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts franchise, and focusses on a war that brews between two worlds, a situation very similar to the current crisis.

Sequel to 2016's Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them and 2018's Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore will see the return of Jude Law as Dumbledore, Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski and is scheduled to release in April, 2022.
Currently Russia's invasion of Ukraine has entered day 2 and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said in a video address today that atleast 137 people have been killed and hundreds more wounded.
