Actor Ravi Mohan has commenced work on his first directorial venture titled An Ordinary Man, which stars Yogi Babu in the lead role. The film is being produced under Ravi Mohan’s own banner, Ravi Mohan Studios.

The makers announced that production began with a traditional pooja ceremony on Thursday. Pictures from the launch event featured Ravi Mohan, Yogi Babu, and singer Kenishaa Francis. Sharing the update, Yogi Babu wrote, “An Ordinary Man begins. Shoot starts today with pooja for my hero Ravi Mohan sir’s first movie, debut directorial.”

An Ordinary Man marks the second project from Ravi Mohan Studios after Bro Code, which is still under production and also features the actor in the lead. The announcement of the Yogi Babu-starrer had coincided with the studio’s launch last year at the Chennai Trade Centre.

Speaking earlier about the collaboration, Yogi Babu had said that Ravi Mohan had promised him a film during the making of Comali and fulfilled that promise six years later with An Ordinary Man.

Further details about the film’s cast, genre, and storyline are yet to be revealed. It also remains unclear whether Ravi Mohan will appear in the film in an acting role. Meanwhile, the makers tagging Kenishaa Francis in the announcement post has sparked speculation that she could be contributing to the film’s music as a singer.
