The makers of Bloody Politics, starring Gautham Ram Karthik in the lead, have unveiled the film’s title and released a short teaser. The political action drama is directed by debutant Dhina Raghavan.

The teaser opens with V. I. S. Jayapalan speaking about the significance of a political party’s flagpost and how it often becomes the centre of conflicts and violence. It then shifts to Gautham Ram Karthik’s character engaging in a fight near a flag pole, before dramatically uprooting it with a hammer. Towards the end, Jayapalan’s character calls him Ilaiyaraaja, hinting at the protagonist’s identity.

The film also features Selvaraghavan, whose presence is hinted at through posters and wall art in the teaser.

 Produced by Ganesh K. Babu, who previously directed the film Dada, Bloody Politics also stars Anchana Nethrun, P Vasu, Robbie, A Venkatesh, Maaran, Indhumathi, Aditya Kathir and Bakkiyam Sankar in key roles.
