The official teaser of Taanakkaran starring Vikram Prabhu in the lead is out now. The movie is directed by debutant Tamizh and is produced by SR Prabhu's Potential Studios. Malayalam actor Lal, Anjali Nair, and MS Baskar are playing pivotal roles in the movie, which is expected to release later this year.

Taanakkaran has Ghibran for music and is said to be based on true life events that took place in Tamil Nadu.
