Recently actor Vijay Sethupathi's 46th movie (VJS46), directed by Ponram and produced by Sun Pictures began shooting. Now director Ponram has revealed that his lead not only plays a cop but a humourous one at that. 

"Unlike last time, his role will have an ample dose of humour as well. The characterisation will be a mix of my style and Makkal Selvan’s style.”,  the director has been quoted as saying by TOI. 

VJS46 is planned to be shot at Palani, Theni, Dhanushkodi and PollachiPollachi and after it's current schedule the team will take a break for 1 month. The movie has D. Imman for music.
