Horror film Katteri, directed by Yaamirukka Bayamey fame Deekay and produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green is taking the OTT route, joining the list of films which have bypassed theatrical release owing to the Coronavirus pandemic. Katteri will premiere on the streaming digital platform Zee 5 while an official date of premiere is yet to be announced.

Katteri stars Vaibhav, Sonam Bajwa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Aathmika in prominent roles while the film has music by S.N. Prasad. The film is expected to start streaming from August, 2020 and will be the second Tamil movie after Yogi Babu's Cocktail to directly release via Zee 5.
