Seems like actor Simbu (STR) and producer Suresh Kamatchi have put their differences aside to team up once again for their political thriller Maanaadu. A recent twitter update made by Suresh Kamatchi read, "Filming date for STR in Maanaadu will be announced in the near future" and contained pictures of him and STR chatting up.

If one may recall, Maanaadu was dropped unceremoniously after STR decided to not go ahead with the project after waiting on it for almost a year. Suresh Kamatchi came with a public explanation of his side and said that Maanaadu will be revived with another actor.

STR announced a counter home movie titled Magha Maanaadu; both the proposed projects failed to materialize.
