Nooru Saami, starring Vijay Antony and Swasika, has cleared censorship with a U/A 13+ certificate ahead of its June 19 theatrical release. The makers described it as "unfiltered and authentic, a story made for families packed with peak emotions."

Directed by Sasi, the film reunites him with Vijay Antony after Pichaikkaran (2016), with the title itself inspired by the popular song Nooru Samigal from that film. Set in a village bound by rigid religious conventions, Swasika plays a woman ostracised by the community while Vijay Antony plays a character with a close connection to her.

The supporting cast includes Lijomol Jose, Karunas, Ajay Dhishan, Balaji Sakthivel, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, and several others. Vijay Antony produces the film, with his late daughter Meera credited as its presenter. The technical team features cinematographer SB Darshan Kirlosh, composer Balaji Sriram, and editor Harish Yuvaraj.

Nooru Saami releases in Tamil and in Telugu as Vanda Devullu on June 19.
