Actor Sivakarthikeyan weighed in on the ongoing Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections after casting his vote at a local polling station in Chennai. Calling it an exciting election for everyone, he highlighted the unprecedented role of social media this cycle. "For the first time, social media's sway has been influential in an election. I am intrigued to learn the results," he said.
When asked about the possibility of change, the actor kept it measured — "Everyone has to come together to decide that. My opinion alone won't make a difference, but I have completed my duty."
Tamil Nadu voters can cast their ballots from 7 AM to 6 PM today, with results set to be announced on May 4.
