Producer Raahul, known for distributing blockbusters like Vijay's The Greatest of All Time (2024) and Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly (2025), is now stepping into production in a bigger way. On Monday, he announced that he will be backing a new film starring Vikram Prabhu in the lead, to be helmed by debutant director Siddharth.
The announcement follows closely on the heels of another exciting reveal from Raahul's Romeo Pictures banner — actor Ravi Mohan's next, directed by debutant GND Shyam Kumar, was announced just days ago, signalling that the producer is building a strong slate of fresh talent-driven projects.
Vikram Prabhu was last seen in the police drama Sirai (2025), directed by debutant Suresh Rajakumari from a script by Tamizh, who had previously directed Vikram Prabhu in Taanakkaran (2022). Sirai followed an Armed Reserves police officer recounting a gripping prisoner transport mission and the life-altering challenges that came with it, featuring LK Akshay Kumar and Anishma Anilkumar in supporting roles.
Further details on the new Vikram Prabhu project remain under wraps.
