Stand-up comedian and content creator Vikram, popularly known as Vikkals Vikram, is set to make his debut as a lead actor in the upcoming Tamil film Lightweight Baby.

Directed by KC Guru, who has also written the script, the film is billed as a rom-com sports drama. Vikram is also contributing as the dialogue writer. The title look hints at a story of two contrasting individuals brought together by a common passion.

Arthy Krishna stars as the female lead, also marking her debut. The film is produced by Sagara Sandesh and Timma Reddy G under the Hitha Studios banner. Vikkals Vikram rose to fame through stand-up comedy and social media content, later gaining wider recognition with appearances in web series and reality television.
