Actor Vishal, currently shooting for director Sundar C’s Purushan, has been engaging in charitable efforts alongside his film commitments. While filming at Santhome Kalpana House, the actor has arranged meals for nearly a week at the nearby Kaakkum Karangal old-age home and has reportedly taken steps to ensure the initiative continues on a regular basis.

On Monday, Vishal also shared pictures from the sets after meeting veteran actor Boman Irani. Calling him one of his favourite performers, Vishal described the meeting as a pleasant surprise and expressed interest in attending one of Irani’s free screenwriting workshops in the future.

Purushan marks Vishal’s reunion with Sundar C and composer Hip Hop Tamizha after Aambala. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Yogi Babu, and is billed as an action-comedy revolving around a mild-mannered husband who hides a violent side from his wife. The project is produced by Benzz Media and Avni Cinemax.

Meanwhile, Vishal is also gearing up for Magudam, which marks his directorial debut, and has Thupparivalan 2 in the pipeline, both of which he will helm.
