Thaai Kizhavi, starring Radikaa Sarathkumar and directed by debutant Sivakumar Murugesan, has registered a strong opening at the box office, with the makers announcing a worldwide collection of over Rs 22 crore within its first three days.

Of the total, nearly Rs 15 crore was reportedly grossed from India alone, reflecting a solid audience turnout during the opening weekend. The film also features an ensemble cast including Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Ilavarasu and George Maryan among others.

Produced by Passion Studios and SK Productions, the film revolves around Pavunuthaayi, a stern and outspoken elderly woman whose own village turns against her before realising her true worth. The technical crew includes composer Nivas K. Prasanna, cinematographer Vivek Vijayakumar and editor San Lokesh.
