Lockdown Postponed From Dec 5 Release Due to Rains - New Date Coming Soon

The Tamil film Lockdown, starring Anupama Parameswaran, has been postponed from its December 5, 2025 release due to heavy rains and Cyclone Ditwah affecting Chennai and nearby areas.

Producers Lyca Productions announced the delay prioritizing the safety of audiences, theatre staff, and partners, as flooding and unsafe travel conditions continue.

This is the second delay for the film, which was originally scheduled for June 2024 before being moved to December 5.
