Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth in the lead released in theaters worldwide on October 10, 2024, and has completed thirteen days of theaterical run as of today. Even before the film's release, deal between Vettaiyan makers Lyca Productions, and Vettaiyan's digital rights holder Amazon Prime Video was that the movie would stream after 30 days of its theatrical run.

Going by the same, expected Vettaiyan OTT release date is November 8, 2024 (Friday). Another possible Vettaiyan OTT release date is November 10, 2023 (Sunday). A cop action drama written and directed by Jai Bhim fame TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Abhirami, Rohini among others. 

Vettaiyan comes with a runtime of 163 minutes, and has Anirudh Ravichander for music, SR Kathir for cinematography, and Philomin Raj for edits. Vettaiyan's streaming rights have been sold to Amazon Prime Video for a whopping price of Rs. 100 Cr.

[October 31, 2024: Update] Amazon Prime Video has officially announced that the Vettaiyan OTT release date is November 8, 2024 (Friday). Vettaiyan will be available to stream in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
