Studio Green, UV Creations produced Kanguva starring Suriya in the lead is an upcoming fantasy actioner written by Adi Narayana, and directed by Siva. The movie recently had a 'sizzling' teaser release which unveiled the visual grandeur in the offing. While Suriya, and co-star Bobby Deol could be seen in the video, the rest of the characters including female lead Disha Patani are yet to be unveiled. 

Kanguva's OTT rights have long been known to be with Amazon Prime Video. Producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green had even revealed in the media that Kanguva's digital rights sale to the streaming platform, fetched the movie a whopping Rs. 80 Cr for all the South Indian languages.  

Amazon Prime Video recently posted about Kanguva's post theatrical OTT release plan on their streaming platform. During the same, they unveiled Kanguva plot to be 'a story that travels 500 years from 1700’s to 2023' and  'about a hero who has to fulfil a mission left unfinished'.

Madhan Karky has penned the dilaogues for Kanguva, which also has  'Rockstar' Devi Sri Prasad for music, Vetri Palanisamy for cinematography, Milan for art,  Supreme Sundar for action and Nishad Yusuf for edits.

Saregama music label holds the audio rights to Kanguva. Kanguva's Hindi and Kannada theatrical distribution rights are with Pen Studios and KVN Productions respectively.
