"The film will soon see the light of the day", was the last Dhruva Natchathiram update from film's director Gautham Vasudev Menon on November 28, 2023. After struggling to turn his script into a film for a decade, and complete the film starring Chiyaan Vikram for years, it finally seemed like Dhruva Natchathiram was nearing its theatrical debut last year. However that wasn't the case, and Gautham Menon's 'team basement' was once again shown the basement.

Latest on the film is that Dhruva Natchathiram Part One: Yuddha Kaandam's release date is March 29, 2024 [Friday]. An official announcement on the same is however awaited.
