As reported earlier, the first single from actor Vijay's upcoming movie Leo will release on his birthday i.e. June 22, 2023. This song composed by Anirudh is titled Alter Ego Naa Ready, and this was officially announced with a new poster release today.

Leo written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is part of the director's action thriller cinematic universe called LCU. The movie has previously had an all-English theme track release called Bloody Sweet, and its audio rights are with Sony Music South.

A production venture of 7 Screen Studio, Leo also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan among others. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on October 19, 2023 for Dusshera and its post-theatrical OTT and satellite rights are with Netflix and Sun TV respectively.

[June 22, 2023//Update]: Naa Ready sung by Vijay and with lyrics by Vishnu Edavan will be out at 6: 30 PM today on Sony Music South's YouTube channel. A promo video for the number was unveiled a few days ago and the same can be seen here.
