Lyca Productions is yet to roll AK 62 (tentative title), their upcoming project with actor Ajith Kumar and director Vignesh Shivan, and even at this point buzz about their next big production venture with Ajith has surfaced. If buzz in the industry is anything to go by, then Lyca will also be bankrolling AK 63 [short for Ajith Kumar's 63rd film] and that director Atlee will be helming. 

This has sent shockwaves across fandoms, considering Atlee's 4-film directorial career - 3 of which are Vijay starrers. Even in Atlee's upcoming 5th directorial Jawaan (Hindi), Vijay is said to be playing a cameo. 

While the constantly fighting Ajith and Vijay fandoms are having a fit on social media over this development, AK 63 on the other hand is also said to have composer AR Rahman for music. It remains to be seen if this unlikely combo ends up materializing. It also remains to be seen when AK 63 will begin, given the murmurs of Ajith taking a year and a half break post completing AK 62 with Vignesh Shivan.

[January 28, 2023: Update] Sources close to actor Ajith have updated that while the Atlee rumours are false, director Vignesh Shivan's film with the actor which was supposed to be AK 62, is getting postponed as AK 63. Currently the actor is on the lookout for a director to collaborate on AK 62.
