MS Dhoni once again addressed retirement chatter with his trademark humour during a recent Indian Premier League fan event at Chepauk.

Sharing the stage with the Chennai Super Kings squad, actor Sivakarthikeyan expressed his admiration, calling CSK “more than just a team” and an emotion for fans.

Recalling the iconic Chepauk atmosphere, Sivakarthikeyan said the roar when Dhoni walks out to bat can be heard miles away, even from his residence in ECR. He also praised Dhoni’s leadership, stating that it has inspired millions beyond cricket.

In a lighter moment, Sivakarthikeyan urged Dhoni to continue playing till 60, drawing huge cheers from fans. Responding with a smile, Dhoni said, “It is very difficult… it is on the way down, not on the way up. But I’ll try.”
