Filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu opened up about his narration experience with Rajinikanth, calling it a dream moment in his career.

Ashwath revealed that Rajinikanth personally called him and asked for a story, prompting him to work on a script for nearly a month. When he narrated it, the superstar was highly impressed, describing the story as “extraordinary” and even getting so engrossed that he forgot his lunch during the session.

The director added that Rajinikanth particularly loved the interval block and the villain character, calling them terrific. However, the actor suggested that the story be kept for a later time.

Interestingly, Rajinikanth reportedly told Ashwath that “only I or Kamal can do this story,” referring to Kamal Haasan, further underlining the scale and ambition of the project.

Ashwath also mentioned that his upcoming film with Silambarasan is a large-scale fantasy project, which is currently taking time to develop.
