Actress Tamannaah who was last seen in Tamil in the 2019 Vishal movie Action, is all set for a comeback into Kollywood after 4 long years. Tamannaah has been confirmed to play a role on Rajinikanth starrer Jailer, that also stars Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal (cameo), Shivarajkumar, Sunil, Vinayakan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu among others. 

Jailer is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Beast (2022), Doctor (2021) and Kolamaavu Kokila (2018) fame. Rajini plays a character named Muthuvel Pandian in the movie, which is said to revolve around prison and its inmates.
