For a while now, there has been a buzz that actor Rajinikanth has signed a two film deal with Lyca Productions, the banner that previously produced the star's 2.0 (2018), Darbar (2020) and distributed Kaala (2018). We had even reported that one of these films might be directed by Mani Ratnam who recently teamed up with Lyca for Ponniyin Selvan: Part One (PS-I).

There are also talks of Rajinikanth appearing in a cameo in daughter Aishwarya's movie, also produced by Lyca and Don director Cibi Chakravarthi directing a film with Rajinikanth, Lyca Productions. While it remains to be seen, who will be directing Rajinikanth in Lyca's two film deal with the Superstar, latest buzz is that he has been paid a whopping price for these back-to-back projects. 

Rajinikanth is reportedly taking home a whopping Rs. 250 Cr as remuneration for his two film deal with Lyca Productions. Salaries of actors are never officially confirmed but an estimation of it is what is usually floated around. Given the same, fans have been left in awe that Rajinikanth, the soon-to-be 72 is pulling such high numbers at this stage of his career.
