Aishwarya Rajinikanth announced a new movie titled Oh Saathi Chal early this year, which would mark not just her debut in Hindi, but also her third directorial after the Tamil films 3 (2012) and Vai Raja Vai (2015). On her social media handles, Aishwarya keeps her fans updated on the script process and word in the grapevine is that she plans to begin shooting from November this year. However the film beginning is said to be the one announced before Oh Saathi Chal, which is a thriller with Lyca Productions.

Oh Saathi Chal - ;an extraordinary true love story' is backed by Poda Podi producer Meenu Aroraa and there was even a buzz that the producers are keen on roping in Silambarasan TR for the lead role. On the other hand, Atharvaa Murali is said be playing lead in the bilingual thriller entertainer with Lyca, which is written by Sanjeev.  

Rajinikanth is also said to be be playing a cameo in this untitled Lyca project, though official announcements await.
