Sun Pictures produced Thiruchitrambalam starring Dhanush in the lead was recently confirmed as an August 18, 2022 (Thursday) release and the movie will be hitting theater screens just in time for the Krishna Jayanti holiday weekend. Thiruchitrambalam has Anirudh for music marking the famous 'DnA' (Dhanush and Anirudh) reunion after 7 years and latest we hear, the first single from the movie will be dropped next week. An official confirmation on the same is however awaited.

A Mithran Jawahar directorial, Thiruchitrambalam comes with an ensemble of Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja, Prakash Raj among others. Dhanush plays the titular role who has so far been hinted as a food delivery executive and an Ilayaraaja fan.
