The first look of Dhanush as Thiruchitrambalam, an upcoming Tamil movie of the same name has been unveiled by Sun Pictures and the actor seems to be portraying an over-worked food delivery person in the snippet. Directed by Mithran Jawahar, Thiruchitrambalam also stars Raashi Khanna as Dhanush's former classmate, Nithya Menen as his best friend, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja as his grandfather, Prakash Raj as a strict police inspector among others.

The technical crew of Thiruchitrambalam includes Anirudh for music, Om Prakash for cinematography and Prasanna GK for edits. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies will be distributing the film in Tamil Nadu and the movie is expected to be releasing in theaters on July 28, 2022 (official announcement awaited).
