The first character reveal from Dhanush's upcoming film Thiruchitrambalam was made today and actress Raashi Khanna plays Anusha, Dhanush's high school friend in the movie. The characters of Nithya Menen and Priya Bhavani Shankar are expected to be unveiled next by Sun Pictures in the upcoming days.

Thiruchitrambalam is actor Dhanush's 44th and the movie marks his reunion with director Mithran Jawahar after remakes - Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008), Kutty (2010) and Uthamaputhiran (2010). The movie has Anirudh for music and has been hinted to incorporate food delivery service in its story.
