Following Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj, Sun Pictures have now unveiled the character of actress Nithya Menen from Thiruchitrambalam starring Dhanush in the lead. Menen plays Shobana, best friend of Dhanush's titular character in the movie.

Directed by Mithran Jawahar, Thiruchitramabalam will see Dhanush as an Ilayaraaja fan and the story has been hinted to themed around food delivery service. The film has Anirudh for music and is expected to release in theaters on July 28, 2022 (official announcement awaited).
