Actor Vijay who is currently shooting at Hyderabad for his upcoming movie Thalapathy 66 (tentative title) paid a courtesy visit to Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of current Telengana Chief Minister (CM) Chandrasekhar Rao. Office of the CM took to twitter to share pictures from this meeting last evening and wrote, "Tamil movie hero @actorvijay today paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragati Bhavan. On this occasion, Vijay was honored with a CM shawl."
CM Chandrasekhar Rao's close aide and Rajya Sabha MP Santhosh Kumar J also took to twitter to share that Vijay's visit was a 'pleasant surprise' and that he thanked the actor for his contribution to the 'Green India Challenge' initiative back in 2020.
