Actor-politician Kamal Haasan was hospitalized at Sri Ramachandra Medical Center at Porur, Chennai after he tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19. The hospital has now updated that the actor has recovered from his mild infection and will be fit to resume work soon.
A medical bulletin released at 2 PM today reads, "MR. KAMAL HAASAN, who has been admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on 22nd November 2021 was Covid Positive. He had mild covid for which he was treated. He has fully recovered but advised to be on isolation until 3rd December 2021. He will be fit to resume his routine work from 4th December 2021."
Kamal Haasan is currently serving as the host of Bigg Boss Tamil reality show on Vijay TV and actress Ramya Krishnan had stepped in as a guest host while he was away. The actor is also part of on-going productions like Indian 2 with director Shankar, Lyca Productions and Vikram with Lokesh Kanagaraj under his home banner.
