Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has teamed up with UK director Philip John whose credits include helming the famous Downton Abbey series, for the on-screen adaptation of The Arrangements of Love. Samantha will be playing a bisexual woman of Tamil origin in the movie, which is based on the novel about family, home and intricacies of human relationships.

The Arrangements of Love, penned by Indian author Timeri N Murari follows a Welsh-Indian man, who is out to find his estranged father. Samantha will be playing a character that runs a detective agency in this story, and is constantly facing pressure from her ultra-traditional parents to get into an arranged marriage. 

Sunitha Tati’s Guru Films which produced Samantha's Oh Baby is backing this project, and the film is expected to begin shooting in August, 2022.
