MovieCrow had previously reported that Selvaraghavan's upcoming movie Naane Varuven starring Dhanush will begin shooting mid-October and now the director has hinted at the same by sharing this poster:

Naane Varuven was previously supposed to begin shooting in in August 2021 but was delayed due to the pandemic. The movie produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Arvind Krishna for cinematography and Prasanna GK for the edits.

Bigil actress Induja Ravichandran plays one of the female leads in the movie, which is titled after a 1992 Rahman, Sripriya starrer.
